The FLYCO First Aid course is designed to cover in flight medical emergencies.
Each section discusses the need for fast action and personal protection when performing
life saving treatment. It also covers the layout and use of the first aid kit, the doctor's kit and the
auto-defibrillator. The course also covers how to administer CPR. The course is meant
primarily for the cabin crew however the course does cover pilot considerations in the event of a
medical emergency and how to rate the seriousness of the emergency and
if it requires diversion to intermediary airport.
This course meets all state authority regulations. FLYCO courses are constantly monitored and
updated when major changes in authority documentation is released.
